The CZ Shadow 2 Compact is the smaller sister of the full size CZ Shadow 2 model. It retains the precision and all-metal construction of its predecessor, but with smaller dimensions. The pistol is still heavy, but it can now be better carried concealed. This is also why many shooters acquire it.

Beware of frame mount, optics and other accessories
All holsters in our offer are intended for standard versions of the models. If you install a frame mount, flashlight, laser or other accessory on the pistol that fundamentally changes its profile, it will not fit into a standard holster and you will need a custom-made holster.
Leather and kydex
We consider these materials to be the best for gun holsters. It depends on your preferences which one is closer to you. What are the advantages and, conversely, the disadvantages of each?
Kydex: highly functional material
It suits primarily sport and competition shooters.
Advantages:

Constant shape: It does not stretch, loosen, or compress. The holster remains open, and you can easily return the pistol to it with one hand.

Safety: The firearm is held firmly inside. You can recognize the correct seating by the characteristic "click" that you hear after insertion.

Fast draw: Kydex has only minimal resistance and does not stick to the firearm like leather. You only have to overcome resistance in the first moment so that the holster expands at the point where it embraces the trigger guard; after that, it comes out completely smoothly. You will appreciate this in situations where seconds count.

Easy maintenance: Or rather, practically zero. It is enough to wipe the holster with a damp cloth.

Disadvantages:

Inconvenience: The hard plastic can press against you.

Wear and tear of the firearm: Abrasion may occur in places where the firearm rubs against the holster (on the trigger guard and on the edges of the slide).

Leather: aesthetics and classics
Due to the comfort that leather holsters provide, they are chosen especially by those who carry a firearm concealed or all day.
Advantages:
Comfort: The greatest benefit. Leather is a pleasant and soft material that adapts to the body and the firearm, and it does not press even when you have the firearm on your body all day.
Saves the firearm surface: It does not abrade the firearm like plastic.
Style: For many people, cold plastic is visually uninteresting and cold. Leather, on the other hand, looks stylish and elegant.
Disadvantages:
Maintenance: Leather as a natural material is pliable and adaptable, but it also works and requires proper care – treatment with special leather products so that it does not crack or dry out, or conversely, cleaning if it soaks up sweat.
Flexibility: Over time, it may happen that you will need both hands when returning the pistol to the holster, because the leather softens so much that the opening "flattens" after drawing.
Requires time: A new holster may be tighter, and it then takes a longer time before it loosens and the firearm can be drawn and inserted easily. After a longer time, there is a risk of stretching and greater play.
IWB or OWB?
You can carry the pistol on the outside of the waistband (OWB – outside the waistband) or on the inside of the pants (IWB – inside the waistband). Everyone prefers something different.
With the CZ Shadow 2 Compact, IWB holsters are a bit more comfortable than with the larger full size models.
