The CZ Shadow 2 Compact has a shorter slide and a shorter grip than the full size Shadow 2. It is made for carry and for shooters who want a smaller pistol with the Shadow 2 feel. Some parts are shared with the Shadow 2, others are made only for the Compact. You can choose original CZ parts and parts from Eemann Tech, Toni System, Lok, Zendl, Armanov, DPM and RH Holsters.

Parts made for the Compact

The grip of the Compact is shorter, so it needs its own grips, magwells and holsters. These are shared with the Shadow 2 Carry.

  • Grips: aluminium grips from CZ, Armanov, Eemann Tech and Lok, brass grips from Lok and G10 grips from Lok Mayhem. Eemann Tech aluminium grips come in sizes S to XL.
  • Grips and magwell sets: Lok Gridlok short grips with a magwell in aluminium or brass, and Toni System polymer sets with a magwell, one of them with base pads.
  • Magazine release: the original CZ button in the colour of the CZ grips, or an oversized Toni System button.
  • Holsters: RH Holsters kydex holsters in IWB and OWB versions, shared with the Carry.
  • Recoil: a DPM recoil reduction system made for the Compact. It comes with four external springs, two softer gold-coated ones and two stronger silver-coated ones, so you can match it to your ammunition.
  • Spare parts: the original Compact recoil spring and extractor pin, and the main spring rod shared with the P-01, P-07 and P-09.

Parts shared with the Shadow 2

Many internal parts are the same as on the full size Shadow 2. The Compact takes the same sights and most spring parts. Base pads for the Shadow 2, CZ 75 and SP-01 magazine family fit the Compact magazine too, from +0.5 to +8 rounds. If you add a magwell, choose base pads marked magwell compatible.

Red dot

The Shadow 2 OR plates also fit the Shadow 2 Compact. You can choose plates for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro and Holosun 509T footprints. The Vector Optics Frenzy 1x20x24 fits the Shadow 2 OR and Compact cut directly, without a plate.

Springs

The trigger group springs of the Compact are the same as on the Shadow 2, TS 2, CZ 75B and SP-01. You can choose Eemann Tech competition sear springs with 10% less power and competition trigger springs with 15% less power, extreme trigger and extractor springs with 10% more power, and lighter trigger springs from Zendl and Toni System. Lighter springs make the trigger pull lighter. Test them with your ammunition before you rely on the pistol.

Slide stop

For the support hand, Eemann Tech makes a slide stop with a thumb rest that fits the Shadow 2, P-01 and CZ 75 D Compact.

Do Shadow 2 grips fit my CZ Shadow 2 Compact?

No. The Compact has a shorter grip and needs its own grips. Grips for the Shadow 2 Compact also fit the Shadow 2 Carry.

Can I put a red dot on my CZ Shadow 2 Compact?

Yes. The Shadow 2 OR plates fit the Compact. Choose the plate with the footprint of your red dot and screw it into the slide cut.

Do Shadow 2 base pads fit my Shadow 2 Compact magazines?

Yes. Base pads for the Shadow 2, CZ 75 and SP-01 magazine family fit the Compact magazine as well.
