Watch out for frame mounts, optics, and other accessories
All holsters in our offer are designed for standard versions of the models. If you attach a frame mount, flashlight, laser, or any other accessory that fundamentally changes its profile, it will not fit into a standard holster, and you will need a custom-made one.
The exception is a red dot sight, which many holsters are already designed to accommodate. You can find out whether a holster is compatible with a red dot in the description of each individual item.

Why choose a kydex holster?
The CZ Shadow 2 is a heavy and robust pistol. To ensure it stays firmly in place and allows for a reliable, fast draw during competitions, you need a sturdy holster that retains its shape. The holsters made of thick Kydex in our offer are designed exactly for that.
Kydex resists chemicals, sweat, cold, and sunlight, requiring virtually no maintenance. If it gets dirty, you can easily wipe it down with a damp cloth.
Characteristic click
When you insert the pistol into the holster, you will hear a typical click, giving you a clear signal that the firearm is securely in place. At that moment, it stays in the holster as if nailed down. Simultaneously, the resistance of the material gripping the trigger guard is the only resistance you must overcome when drawing; after that, the weapon comes out smoothly. This allows for a very fast draw—faster than from a leather holster—which you will especially appreciate during competitions.
Isn't a hard holster uncomfortable?
It can be. Especially if you have a smaller build and purchase an IWB Kydex holster, it may press against you. There isn't much to be done about that, as Kydex won't yield even a fraction of an inch. The level of discomfort can be addressed by opting for an OWB holster instead.
Leather holsters for fans of the classics
If we consider Kydex the pinnacle of functionality, then leather is its counterpart. It serves primarily an aesthetic function and is significantly more comfortable. It adapts perfectly to the size and shape of the firearm as well as to your body.
Requires more care
Leather is a natural material, which means you must look after it to keep it in good condition. It needs to be treated with special products to prevent it from hardening or cracking. It also absorbs sweat, which can subsequently cause corrosion on the metal parts of your firearm.
It adapts, but it also stretches
Leather holsters can be a bit tight at first, and it takes a while before they loosen up enough for the weapon to be easily removed and replaced. Over time, however, the opposite extreme can occur: the holster may stretch and no longer hold the weapon firmly enough, or it may flatten when empty, requiring both hands to return the pistol inside.
IWB or OWB?
You can carry the pistol on the outside of the waistband (OWB – outside the waistband) or inside the waistband (IWB – inside the waistband). Everyone has different preferences.
IWB holsters are often chosen by people who want to carry a weapon concealed. However, the CZ Shadow 2 is not easily hidden, even in an IWB holster. For sport shooting and service purposes, OWB holsters generally serve better, but ultimately, it all depends on your personal preferences.
