Before deciding which sights to choose to upgrade your CZ P-10 OR, consider the following points.

Can sights from this category be used for the classic CZ P-10, i.e., non-Optics Ready version?

Technically yes, because they have the same profile, but they won't align perfectly with the front sight due to the height difference. Additionally, the dovetail cut on CZ P-10 Optics Ready models is positioned further back. If you mount classic CZ P-10 sights on an Optics Ready version, they will overhang the back of the slide.

What are cowitness sights and what are their advantages?

Cowitness sights serve as backup sights for red dot optics.

Red dot sights are electronic devices and, as such, can fail. In contrast, classic sights function 100% of the time. So, whatever happens with the red dot, classic sights always save the day, allowing you to reliably aim at your target.

Which cowitness sights to choose?

The choice of sights closely relates to the purpose for which you use the gun.

Fiber optic sights are used by shooters who use their guns in good lighting conditions, primarily sport shooters. Fiber optic has excellent visibility in good light but not so much in the dark.

If you have a CZ-P10 Optics Ready for defense or EDC, we recommend tritium sights. Tritium provides excellent visibility in dark conditions but not as much in good light.

How to choose the right red dot for CZ P-10 Optics Ready?

Keep in mind that not all red dots have the same dimensions. For example, cowitness sights that work with Trijicon RMR or Holosun 507C may not work with a Vortex Venom red dot.

Why? Because the red dot may be larger, and you might not be able to see through it to the sights.

If you plan to use a red dot, make sure you select one that does not overextend the slide with its size.
