Fast draw: Kydex has only minimal resistance; it does not stick to the weapon like leather. You only have to overcome resistance in the first moment so that the holster expands where it embraces the trigger guard; after that, it comes out completely smoothly. You will appreciate this in situations where seconds count.

Easy maintenance: Or rather, practically zero. You just need to wipe the holster with a damp cloth.

"Indestructibility": The material resists sun, sweat, frost, oil, and most chemicals.
Disadvantages:

Discomfort: Hard plastic can press against you, and the larger the model, the more pronounced this factor becomes. Since the CZ P-09 is a truly large weapon, considering comfort is certainly appropriate.

Weapon wear: Abrasion may occur in places where the weapon rubs against the holster (on the trigger guard and on the edges of the slide).

Maintenance: As a natural material, leather is malleable and adaptable, but it also "works" and requires proper care – treatment with special leather products so that it does not crack or dry out, or conversely, cleaning if it soaks up sweat.

Flexibility: Over time, it may happen that you will need both hands when returning the pistol to the holster because the leather softens so much that the opening "flattens" after drawing.

Requires time: A new holster may be tighter, and it takes longer before it yields and the weapon can be drawn and inserted easily. After a longer period, there is a risk of stretching and greater play.
Summary
Leather is a soft and pliable material that adapts better to the body. However, it also requires more maintenance and stretches more easily.
Kydex is the exact opposite; it has zero play, is firm, and constant. It requires no maintenance, although its hardness may be uncomfortable for some.
OWB or IWB?
Do you want to carry your pistol on the outer side of the waist (OWB – outside the waistband) or on the inner side of the trousers (IWB – inside the waistband)? Each holster can only be worn in one of these ways.
The dimensions of the CZ P-09 are not exactly conducive to concealed carry, but that does not mean you won't want to carry it inside your waistband.
In an IWB holster, you can hide the weapon better and it appears more discreet; on the other hand, it may press against you under your trousers.
