The CZ P-10 platform was developed by CZUB primarily for the military and police. This includes lightweight polymer firearms with a striker-fired mechanism, which allows for very fast firing in crisis situations. Although the armed forces primarily use the full-size CZ P-10F model, the CZ P-10C is often carried as a smaller backup firearm.
Due to its compact dimensions, it has gained popularity among the public, and shooters often acquire it for self-defense. Thanks to its size and lightweight design, it is also comfortable for EDC and concealed carry. Even though it is not a purebred competition special, it is a great choice for certain disciplines, and with a few modifications, it can be turned into an excellent partner for competitions.

Optics and sights
One of the first upgrades shooters often look for is the replacement of factory sights. Sport shooters frequently choose a
red dot. For concealed carry, classic sights are more suitable because they do not take up as much space, or a lower-profile red dot.
When choosing sights, pay attention to whether you are looking for
sights for the classic or the optics ready variant of the firearm. Sights for these two versions differ slightly. While the front sights are identical, the shape of the rear sight differs for the classic and optics ready variant, and they cannot be interchanged. For both versions, you can find fiber optics, tritium, as well as white dot sights in our offer.
In case you want to use a red dot instead of classic sights, focus on your specific model again:

For optics ready firearms, choose from red dot plates, which you simply exchange for the cover plate in the slide cut.

For classic models without optic modification, you need a red dot mount, which you replace the rear sight with and then install the red dot onto it.
In the case of both the optic plate and the red dot mount, check also the compatibility with the red dot so they share the same footprint.
Trigger mechanism and firearm operation
The factory trigger of the CZ P-10 models is tuned primarily for duty purposes. If you have a CZ P-10C for self-defense, you will probably find it quite sufficient. However, if you want to compete, you will likely look for a way to lighten the trigger pull and manage the recoil better.
Given that the models in the P-10 series are polymer, they cannot absorb recoil as effectively as metal models, which can be slightly more challenging for novice shooters.

A popular upgrade is also adjusting the trigger stiffness by replacing the trigger springs with lighter ones. You can find them in the same subcategory.
Ergonomics, capacity and reloading
With CZ P-10 models, you cannot easily replace the grips like with all-metal models. If the texture of the handle does not suit you because it is too aggressive,
you can however use grip tapes, which you can find in the grips subcategory.
Easier and more intuitive reloading is ensured by a magwell, whose funnel-like shape allows for faster reloading. This upgrade will again be appreciated primarily by sport shooters, because for concealed carry, a magwell is rather an extra dimension.
Very often, shooters replace the flat factory
base pads of magazines with aluminum or polymer ones with a higher capacity. Even if you do not want to increase the capacity, a
larger base pad adds weight to the bottom of the firearm, makes it easier for the magazine to drop out, and additionally protects it from damage during a fall.
