Whether you have classic CZ Shadow 2, or whether you have an optics ready version of Shadow 2 (inclugind CZ Shadow 2 Compact), you are always able to use classic pistol sights.
And when it comes to sights for CZ Shadow 2 models, there are plenty of them. And most of them focus on sport shooting, thus those sights are fully adjustable [both windage and elevetion].
Replacing the whole sight set or just a rear sight?
Unlike most of the other CZ models, CZ Shadow 2 uses the same height for factory front sight as do the aftermarket sights.
In other words, you do not necessarily have to purchase the whole sight set, you can also go solely for the rear sight - if you are already happy with the factory fiber optic front sight.
Fiber optic, white dots or blank sights?
This is purely up to you. However, unless you are looking for really some specific type of sights, we recommend going for full fiber optic sights [that is fiber optic rear sight and fiber optic front sight].
The most popular choice is contrast in the front and in the rear sight & combination of 1mm fiber rod in the rear sight, and 1.5mm fiber rod in the front sight. Why is that? Because the front sight is further from you, the larger fiber rod does not look that much larger comapred to the fiber rods in the rear sight.
If you go for sights with fiber optic rod only in the front though, we would recommend going for 1mm fiber optic rod in the front sight as there are no fiber rods in the rear sight.
Front sight filler
With increasing popularity of red dot optics on the handguns, the front sight filler that you can find here is a very elegant solution to the question what to do with the remaining front sight. Because once you have the optic plate for red dot mounted, you can not use the rear sight anymore for aiming.
The same goes if you do not have optics ready CZ Shadow 2 - because to install red dot optic to your model you will need to replace the rear sight with one of the CZ Shadow 2 red dot mounts. Thus again, the front sight will lose its functionality and its better to just replace it with the filler.
Sights for classic and for optics ready models of CZ Shadow 2
Unlike with many other models, if you have optics ready CZ Shadow 2 you still can use the classic sights, and also you can replace them.
The dovetail cut of CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready (or CZ Shadow 2 Compact & CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR) is the same as for classic CZ Shadow 2 models. The slide cut removes the whole part of the slide that accomodates rear sight.
Thus if you have CZ Shadow 2 Compact or CZ Shadow 2 OR, you still can use fully adjustable fiber optic sights if you decide to do so.
Exceptions
If you have the CZ Shadwo 2 Orange, make sure to write us so in the comment of the order.
The "Orange" model has the same height of sights, and also the rear sight is 100% the same. However, the front sight uses different mounting mechanism. Instead of pin, the front sight uses screw that is to be screwed from the top.
So the only thing that needs to be done to make the CZ Shadow 2 sigths fit is to replace the front sight that gets installed by pin to front sight that gets installed by screw. And since we have these front sights in stock, you can just write us into comment that you have Shadow 2 Orange and we already will take care of the rest and send you the proper front sight.
