There are quite a few types of stocks for CZs. As you can guess, different CZ models are compatible with different stocks. For example CZ 457 stock cannot be installed to CZ 600 and similarly CZ Bren 2 stock will not fit CZ Scorpion Evo 3+.
For that reason you can find here stocks separated into four groups of current CZ production:
Types of stocks
There are basically three types of stocks: folding stocks, collapsible stocks and fixed stocks.
Materials
CZ stocks come in different materials: for CZ rifles you can usually find wooden stocks as well as polymer ones. For carbines you can usually find either metal stocks [metal adapter & collapsible body with polymer butt] or fully polymer stocks.
Folding stocks
These you can find available for CZ Scorpion or CZ Bren. They allow you to fold the stock and use your CZ in compact dimensions.
These stocks usually often allow some form of collapsibility: for example CZ Scprion folding stock [whether classic version or magnetic version] can be extended and folded at the same time, allowing the gun to fit all sorts of human lengths.
Collapsible stocks
The advantage of collapsible stocks is that it allows you further extension of the stock compared to the folding stocks, and also it gives you variability when it comes to choosing the butt stock.
Collapsible stocks usually come in few pieces: metal adapter, tube and butt stock.
Fixed stocks
This type of stock comes usually for CZ rifles and it allows no mechanical extension. The only way how to adjust the length of such is to use some butt pad.
Collapsible or folding stock
The decision whether to go for collapsible or folding stock usually comes from practicality.
Whether you want to make your CZ more compact and whether or not the factory folding stock dimension suits your body.
If the factory stock is too short for you or you are already used to different butt stock, you just have to go for collapsible stock through an adapter.
Installation of stock
Bren 2 and Scorpion have both extremely simple mechanism of how to attach stock to the frame. You just have to push the retaining button and slide in the new stock.
When it comes to CZ 457 and CZ 600 models, we recommend going through a video guide that you can find in the description of each stock.
