Step by step guide
- Make sure you have an empty chamber and leave the bolt open
- Press out the retaining pin and remove the lower receiver
- Firmly press the shim in [it needs to be under tension to work properly]
- Put your lower receiver back, put the retaining pin back, and you are done.
