CZ Scorpion Evo models were from production designed as service guns. For the trigger it means its quite heavy to pull - from factory the trigger has 5kg weight.
Since many of the shooters out there are not using Scorpion for service, it is good thing to consider replacing the factory stiff trigger spring for lighter one. There are two types available: 2.5kg and 2kg.
Available CZ Scorpion Evo trigger springs
- lighter trigger spring from CJ Manufactory [2.5kg], and
- lighter trigger spring from Ascalon [2kg / 4.5lbs]
How to install lighter trigger spring on CZ Scorpion Evo
What will you need
- 2.5mm [3/32 inch] and 5mm [3/16 inch] punches
- 1.5mm [1/16 inch] and 3mm [1/8 inch] mm Allen key
- we also recommend to use a vise
Step by step guide
- Make sure you have an empty chamber and leave the bolt open
- Press out the retaining pin and remove the lower receiver
- Use 3mm Allen key to remove the trigger group by losening the screw
- Once the screw is out, put the safety into "Fire" position - that will reveal a grub screw
- Remove the grub screw with 1.5mm Allen key
- Remove the safety lever and pull out the safety shaft
- Pull out the trigger group, drop down the hammer and put the trigger group into a vise and press just enough
- Use the 5mm punch and press the hammer pin slightly out, enough to release the hammer and the hammer spring
- Press on the trigger spring and remove the pin and the lever
- Push out the other pin with 2.5mm punch - we recommend to hold the disconnector while doing so, so that you dont lose the spring while removing
- Replace both springs, put the whole assembly back together [as video below shows in detail], and you are done.
