What to consider before choosing sights
Before making a final decision on which sights to upgrade your CZ 75B, CZ 85B, or CZ 97B, consider the following points.
Choice of sight depends on the use of the firearm
Sport shooters especially appreciate the contrast between the color of the front sight and the rear sight. Different colors allow for quicker orientation in the environment. Speed and accuracy are essential in competitions. You can configure the colors to your preferences when purchasing.
Another way to enhance aiming comfort is to have different fiber sizes for the front sight and rear sight. A combination of 1mm fiber in the rear sight and 1.5mm fiber in the front sight provides the ideal difference for comfortable aiming. The rear sight is closer to your eye, making the larger front sight seem more manageable due to the distance from your eye.
Our customers often choose to replace only the factory front sight with a fiber optic front sight.
If you use your CZ 75B, CZ 85B, or CZ 97B for EDC and defense, we recommend tritium night sights, which glow in the dark and can be relied upon in all circumstances.
Can I install a red dot on CZ 75B, CZ 85B, and CZ 97B models?
Absolutely yes! Even though all these compatible models come from production as classic models without a slide cut.
To install a red dot, you only need the correct red dot mount compatible with your model.
These mounts work as a direct replacement for the rear sight in the dovetail cut. Thanks to the wide range of mounts available, you can install almost any red dot on the market on your CZ model.
What about the front sight when I install a red dot?
Once you install a red dot mount in place of the rear sight, you can no longer use the rear sight for aiming. But what should you do with the front sight, which then loses its function? A front sight filler will elegantly solve this issue.
