CZ Kadet models for training beginners and advanced shooters
CZ Kadet models with .22 LR caliber are primarily used for training both beginner and advanced shooters. This caliber of ammunition is cost-effective, allowing for training without significant expenses on ammunition. For this reason, they are commonly used at shooting ranges for recreational shooting.
They can also occasionally be used as self-defense weapons, especially if you are looking for a firearm that can be carried discreetly.
Advantages of CZ kadet models
In addition to favorable ammunition costs, CZ Kadet models have other advantages:
-
Low recoil: Minimizes discomfort during shooting, making it suitable for new shooters.
-
Excellent ergonomics: Similar to full-sized CZ models, ensuring comfortable handling.
-
Compatibility: These models are compatible with other CZ models, allowing for the use of various accessories.
As training and recreational pistols, CZ models primarily utilize fully adjustable competition sights. In this category, you will find sights with adjustable rear sights, fiber optic front sights, and complete fiber optic sight sets.
How to choose sights for CZ Kadet
Sport shooters particularly appreciate the contrast between the color of the fiber in the front sight and the rear sight. Different colors allow for quicker orientation in the environment, which is essential for speed and accuracy in competitions. You can configure the colors to your preferences when purchasing.
Our customers often choose to replace only the factory front sight with a fiber optic front sight.
Can you install a red dot on CZ Kadet?
Yes, specifically for the CZ Shadow 2 Kadet, there is already a red dot mount available - you can find it here: CZ Shadow 2 Kadet red dot mounts.
Our insight on sights for CZ Kadet
Over the years, we have sold many Kadet sights. For your awareness, we once encountered a situation where, when the rear sight was moved to its lowest possible position, it interfered with the hammer.
Typically, it is not necessary to move the rear sight to this position unless you have a lower rear sight. However, if you know you will need to have the rear sight very low, it is better to choose the LPA Kadet rear sight instead of the CZ Kadet rear sight. This is because it has a shorter blade, so it cannot happen that the hammer would touch it.
