Get the absolute maximum out of a purebred racing special
As an owner of a sport special from the CZ TS 2 series or the older CZ TS, you are obviously striving for the best possible results in competitions. No, these large guns were not created for self-defense or concealed carry, but especially for dynamic disciplines IPSC or USPSA. In these, even tenths of a second matter, and therefore tune the ergonomics and internal mechanism so that the gun meets your exact needs.
What accessories you can find here
Although these models are directly developed for dynamic disciplines of sport shooting, they can still be tweaked to perfection. You can achieve this with quality original and aftermarket accessories from premium manufacturers like Toni System, Eemann Tech, Armanov or Zendl. We have divided it into several subcategories, which you can find in the left part. What can you tune thanks to them?
Sights and optics
Optics belong to one of the first upgrades that shooters reach for here. Often it is a replacement of
sights for fully adjustable sports
sights.
Attention: If you are ordering sights for the CZ TS 2 Orange model, write it in the notes. This model has a different front sight attachment mechanism and we will send you the correct one from stock.
Popular, and in some disciplines practically essential, is the replacement of classic iron sights for a
red dot. To mount it on models that already have a thumb rest from the factory, you can use a side mount. You can find this unique modification on the CZ TS 2 Orange, CZ TS 2 Deep Bronze and CZ TS 2 Racing Green models. From the older models also on the CZ TS Czechmate and CZ TS Orange.
The second option is the installation of the
red dot mount classically instead of the rear sight in the slide. When choosing a
red dot mount, always verify in the item whether it has a footprint (size of the mounting surface, screw spacing and pins) identical to your red dot.
Ergonomics and grip
For a great result, the firearm must fit perfectly in your hand. If it does not, the easiest way to improve is to replace the grips – for larger palms with thicker ones, for smaller ones with thinner ones.
Heavier brass grips add weight to the bottom part of the firearm and help better absorb recoil. You can also choose from various colors and textures of aluminum grips, and thus customize the look of the pistol according to your preferences.
ATTENTION: Some models have a factory-installed magwell. Once you have it on your firearm, automatically choose
short grips. If you do not have a magwell, go to the
long grips category.
A
thumb rest will help you effectively manage recoil and muzzle flip. Thanks to it, you will create a reliable lever for the thumb of your weak hand, which pushes the firearm down. In the
unique parts category, you can find both standalone rests mounted on the frame and the very popular slide stops integrated with a thumb rest for right-handed shooters (located on the left side of the firearm) as well as variants for left-handed shooters.
Magazines and reloading
A
magazine is practically a consumable item for a sport shooter. During a competition, they need to have several of them at hand, and during reloading, they drop them straight to the ground. Therefore, they get deformed from time to time. We recommend having more
magazines at hand just to be sure.
You can replace the factory
base pad with a base pad in various colors. In divisions where capacity is not limited, it is worth getting a
base pad with extended capacity. Enhanced base pads also protect the magazine body upon impact. Heavier materials, on the other hand, help the magazine slip out better and faster.
To make reloading as fast and seamless as possible, use a
magwell. As we have already mentioned, some models (CZ TS 2 Deep Bronze, CZ TS 2 Racing Green, CZ TS 2 Orange) already have a magwell from the factory.
Always combine a magwell with short grips.
Internal tuning
CZ TS and CZ TS 2 models have a light sport trigger straight from the factory, however, it is still adapted to standard ammunition. In different disciplines, however, cartridges of different power are used, and so the recoil spring is often changed and at the same time also the main spring, which affects the trigger action. Thanks to these
springs and the
DPM recoil springs system, you will achieve a smoother and gentler operation of the firearm.
