CZ Shadow 2 red dot mounts

A red dot mount lets you put a red dot on a CZ Shadow 2 that has no Optics Ready cut in the slide. The mount replaces the rear sight in the dovetail cut, and the red dot sits on top of the mount. You do not need any gunsmith work on the slide. You can choose mounts from KMR, Zendl, EGW, Toni System, Eemann Tech and Outer Impact.

Which Shadow 2 models the mounts fit

The mounts are made for the Shadow 2 with a rear sight in the dovetail cut. The compatibility list of most mounts covers:

• CZ Shadow 2, Shadow 2 Orange, Shadow 2 SA and Shadow 2 Urban Grey
• CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow and SP-01 Shadow Orange

Choose the mount by the footprint of your red dot

Every mount is made for a footprint, the pattern of screws and recoil lugs on the bottom of the red dot. Find the footprint of your red dot, then choose a mount with the same footprint:

• Trijicon RMR: steel mounts from KMR and Zendl, and an aluminium mount from EGW.
• Shield RMSc: steel mounts from KMR and Zendl.
• Docter: an aluminium mount from EGW.
• Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series and Leupold DPP: the EGW type S mount.

Universal mounts take more than one footprint. They keep your options open if you plan to change your red dot later:

• Toni System type A: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter.
• Toni System type B: Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Toni System.
• Eemann Tech type V1: Shield RMSc and Docter.
• Outer Impact type C: Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Docter.

Steel or aluminium

The KMR and Zendl mounts are steel and made in the Czech Republic. The EGW, Toni System, Eemann Tech and Outer Impact mounts are aluminium, which is lighter. Screws are included with every mount.

Front sight filler

With a mount in place of the rear sight, you may not need the front sight any more. The Angry Bear front sight filler closes the hole after you remove a front sight held by a pin. It is made of steel in the US.
