Installation
Installation is very simple and can be done by yourself at home, unless you are really not technical type.
You just have to 1. unscrew the factory screws holding the slide cover, 2. remove the cover, 3. place into the slide cut the plate (in the correct orientation), 4. place blue locktite on the screws that come with the plate, and 5. screw in the fixation screws.
Once the plate is firm in its place, you can continue with installation of a red dot to the plate. Bear in mind, the screws that come to you together with the plate are to be used for fixation of the plate to the slide. Screws that hold the red dot to the plate are supposed to come together with the red dot sight.
Cowitness sights
CZ P-10 optics ready models allow to use both: sights and red dot. The dovetail cut for rear sight of P10 OR models is the same as with classic CZ P10 models (without the optics cut) but the dovetail cut is moved further to the back. Thus you cannot really use the same sights on your CZ P10 Optics Ready model as you could on your classic CZ P10 model. Why? It would fit in, but it would hang over the slide.
Luckily enough, there exist cowitness sights, which are made taller and shorter, so that they can be used together with the red dot as a backup. Only limitation, compared to the classic P10 models, is that these sights are always fixed and cannot be heigth & side adjustable. That is because the adjustable mechanism needs the sights to be longer, and such would then hang over the slide in the back.

Mounting a red dot to non-optics ready CZ P-10
If you have a classic CZ P10 model (CZ P10C, CZ P10F, CZ P10S) - a version of P10 without the slide cut - you will be still able to install a red dot to your gun.
However, instead of optic plate you will need a red dot mount. You can find such mounts for P-10 models listed here: CZ P-10 red dot mounts.
Optic plates are designed to work just and only on optics ready models, not on classic models that do not have the optic cut in the slide. If you are not sure which version of CZ P10 you have, rather email us with photo of it to info@cz-parts.com and we double check and confirm what to get.
