The CZ Shadow 2, as the successor to the famous CZ SP-01 Shadow, became famous in the field of sport shooting. Although it is developed directly for sport shooting, and therefore is a perfect sport pistol already in its factory configuration, shooters very often complement it with various accessories and replace factory parts with various tuned ones.
The reason is simple: fractions of a second matter in competitions, and every shooter tries to tailor their firearm exactly to themselves.

ATTENTION: This category contains accessories for both the standard CZ Shadow 2 and the OR (Optics Ready) variant. Keep this in mind especially if you are looking for a way to mount a red dot to your CZ Shadow 2.
Optics and sights
Even though red dots are basically a standard in certain disciplines, they are banned in others. Some shooters also prefer classic iron sights. You can use the same sights on standard and optics ready CZ Shadow 2 models. These are mostly sport-tuned, meaning fully adjustable.
ATTENTION: If you are purchasing a sight set or a front sight for the CZ Shadow 2 Orange model, please write it in the comment. The front sight mounting mechanism of this model differs slightly.
If you decide to shoot with a
red dot, you need different accessories for its installation depending on whether it is an optics ready or a classic model:

optics ready models: you need an optic plate. Focus on choosing the right footprint for your red dot (they differ in mounting surface size, screw spacing, and pins)

classic models: you need a red dot mount. Thanks to this base, which you install instead of the rear sight, you can mount the red dot comfortably. Again, make sure to choose the right footprint for your red dot.
Fortunately, many manufacturers share the same footprints, so orientation is not difficult at all. You can verify compatibility in the description of each item.
Ergonomics and recoil
The CZ Shadow 2 is no lightweight, but a robust all-metal pistol. Therefore, you will appreciate anything that helps you hold it firmly and comfortably in your hands during training and competitions.
From the factory, the CZ Shadow 2 is equipped with aluminum grips. They are lightweight, and if the material suits you, you can choose a different color version or texture from our selection. In case you would prefer to add weight to the lower part of the firearm to eliminate recoil, choose brass grips instead. You can also select from various profiles depending on whether you have smaller or larger palms.
On our e-shop, you will find grips divided into long and short grips. Whether to get one or the other depends entirely on whether you have a magwell installed on your firearm. Its funnel-shaped entry significantly speeds up reloading and also adds extra grams to the bottom of the firearm, which again helps to tame recoil.

In case you have a magwell, you need short grips. Long grips would not fit on a grip with a magwell.

Another valuable partner for managing recoil is definitely a thumb rest. It is usually mounted on the left side (for right-handed shooters). The resting left thumb creates leverage that pushes the barrel downward upon firing, so it does not deflect as much from the line of sight.
Magazines and reloading
The magazine is basically a consumable item for competition shooters. During the competition itself, you need to have several of them on your belt, and after emptying them, you often mercilessly drop them straight onto the ground, which can damage them. Therefore, it is worth having more of them in stock.
The standard magazine base pad is thin and light. By installing a heavier (for example, brass)
base pad, you increase the weight, and the
magazine will slip out on its own more easily due to gravity. It also
better protects the magazine body from deformation. Take a look also at base pads with
extended capacity.
Internal mechanism
The internal mechanism of the firearm must
function with absolute reliability. During cleaning or disassembly, it can happen that some small pin or part occasionally rolls away. For these cases, take a look at the
spare parts category, where you will find all parts marked with a number that corresponds to its number in the exploded view in the firearm manual.
However, there is also a great potential for tuning inside the firearm.
Springs are among the parts that shooters frequently replace. Focus primarily on:

recoil spring, which affects the cycling of the slide,
-
main spring, which drives the hammer against the firing pin
-
and also trigger spring, which determines the trigger pull weight.
For sport shooting, these springs are often replaced with lighter ones. However, it also depends on the ammunition you use, and lighter does not always mean better.

Carrying and special accessories
To carry your firearm comfortably and keep it safely stored, choose from our selection of
holsters. You will mostly find
kydex holsters, precisely molded to the shape of the firearm, into which you can securely click the pistol and it won't move at all. The holsters do not deform, so you do not have to worry about struggling with a stretched opening over time.
Whether you choose a holster for outside-the-waistband (OWB) or inside-the-waistband (IWB) carry depends entirely on your preferences. Take into account the large dimensions and weight of the CZ Shadow 2.
