Some people choose to replace the entire sight set when upgrading their factory CZ, while others prefer to replace only the front sight. Another option is to mix and match the front sight and rear sight according to personal preference. We have something for everyone.
Choosing a set depends on the purpose of the firearm
CZ models are known for their precision craftsmanship, high-quality materials, long lifespan, reliability, and excellent ergonomics. These qualities make them ideal firearms for versatile use, from sport shooting to everyday carry (EDC).
Depending on the purposes for which you use your CZ model, you can select the ideal type of sights. Each type of sight is suited for a different shooting style.
Types of sight sets available
You can choose from several types of sets with us. Each has its advantages and is suitable for different purposes.
Fiber optic sets
Characteristics: Fiber optics capture and direct light.
Advantages: Fiber optics ensure excellent visibility of the front sight in good lighting conditions.
Usage: Used by sport and competition shooters who need to aim quickly and accurately even on sunny days.
Tritium sets
Characteristics: Contain tritium, which glows in the dark. Tritium capsules are completely safe and non-toxic.
Advantages: Tritium sights glow without needing external power and have a long lifespan (approximately 10 years).
Usage: Suitable for self-defense and shooting in low-light conditions.
Classic steel sets
Characteristics: Simple steel front sights without optical elements.
Advantages: Durable and give the firearm a traditional look.
Usage: For self-defense, EDC, suitable for those who do not seek functional upgrades and prefer simplicity and classic design.
Sets with white dots
Characteristics: White dots provide better contrast than classic steel sights without optical elements.
Advantages: Offers better contrast for the eyes, enabling quicker orientation when aiming.
Usage: Universal.
Adjustable sights sets
Typically include a fiber optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight, both vertically and laterally. This adjustability plays a key role in fine-tuning your CZ in various weather conditions or when needing to adjust the firearm for different ammunition.
You don’t have to replace the entire set
Our customers often replace only the factory front sight with a fiber optic front sight while keeping the original rear sight. This is a somewhat cheaper option for upgrading your CZ.
If you decide on this option, we recommend a front sight with a fiber diameter of 1mm. Choose a front sight with a diameter of 1.5mm if you are also changing the rear sight. The contrast between the 1mm fibers in the rear sight and the 1.5mm fiber in the front sight will enhance and speed up your orientation.
